Pot Culture: Plant bulbs 1 inch deep in a light, well drained potting soil. Use 3 bulbs for a 5- to 6-inch pot. Grow in bright light with a night  temperature of 65-72 ° F and day temperature of 72-80° F. Keep soil moist and use a liquid fertilizer during the summer. Remove old flower  stalks as they fade. As bulbs go dormant in late fall, cut tops back and  allow soil to dry out completely for about 2 months.

Outdoors: Plant only in frost-free areas, placing bulbs 2 to 3 inches apart and 2 inches deep in a light, well drained soil in full sun.  Zones 8(with mulch)-11.
